Come celebrate the grand unwrapping of the Giving Machine KC at Union Station’s Grand Hall, next to the Post Office.
Would you like to perform live at Union Station? We’re looking for soloist and groups–vocal and instrumental–who would like to perform at one of Kansas City’s most iconic Christmas locations.
Volunteer musicians must fit the following requirements:
Performers are given an hour to set-up, perform and strike.
Most time slots are between Dec 5-19 and mostly Friday and Saturday evenings.
No. Group set-up is in a designated area on the floor in the Grand Hall of Union Station near the Christmas tree.
No. Performers are offering their time and talent as a holiday gift to the community and to attract people to make donations to charities that are participating in the Giving Machines.
Groups can range between soloists and small ensembles up to 20 people.
Yes. There is a small sound system and a few microphones. We can provide a music stand and a keyboard. Logistics will be arranged for each group with the coordinators.
